Located in East L.A- this Oasis in the middle of one of the country's largest cities- It's a great park to walk, people watch, or rest, but the best way to experience this destination is the "SWAN BOATS" in Echo Park Lake. PLAN YOUR VISIT TO LOS ANGELES A landmark in Los Angeles since 1895, Echo Park is a Nature Lovers Dream. There is much flora and fauna to see and photo capture. I marveled at the abundant lotus flowers, lily pads, ducks and geese that live and thrive here. There were hundreds of turtles as well that were sunning or swimming. Dragonflies zip above the water. The abundance of nature is truly calming. Renting the Swan Boat allows you to see the city from a rare and beautiful perspective.
