A VISIT TO GREAT FALLS PARK -VIRGINA
Photos by D. Marquis Located only 15 miles from the Nation's Capital, this 800-acre park is a destination for recreation. The Potomac River flows through and builds up speed and force as it falls over many rocks and moves through the narrow Mather Gorge. The Entrance Fee is around $20 per car. An annual pass can be purchased for about $35. Park hours are from 7:00am until dark everyday. COWBOY SWAG #2 by itsallarts People have enjoyed visiting this park for over 1000 years. From Trading, Fishing, discovering nature, and hiking, Great Falls is rich in history and surely worth the visit. Ladies enjoying the falls in the 1920's. It's best to arrive early as the line to drive into the park can be as long as 45 minutes or more after 10am on weekends. BOOK YOUR STAY IN VIRGINIA - VIEW...
