PLACES TO GO WHEN OUT

Over the years, Las Vegas has continued to evolve as a mecca for world-class entertainment. If you're planning an upcoming visit to "Sin City", then a walk thru of the " CITY CENTER "- comprised of the COSMOPOLITAN , ARIA, and VDARA resorts are an absolute must see! It honestly felt like a designer's paradise.....The architects and collaborators of this amazing-ness ( I know it's not a word....but it should be!), did quite a job of pulling off numerous ways to keep everyone who sees this place enticed with great visuals and a memorable experience. The shopping plaza "CRYSTALS" that bridges the resorts is a fantastic display of designers pushing the limits of functional creativity. Always known for it's lavish casinos and endless restaurants, City Center does not disappoint when it comes to that either. This place is world famous and is popular both with locals and with tourists and literally oozes with rich history dating back to prehistoric times! This is still a very active tar pit believe it or not and you can always see the tar bubbling through the water as it collects along the banks. There are a number of Musems in the immediate area including the Los Angeles Contemporary Museum of Art or LACMA , , the George Page Museum of Natural History , and lots more to see. My first wine tasting experience couldn't have been any better! The Coppola Winery Located in Northern,CA (Geyersville to be exact) off of the 509 freeway is a great place to visit. It has different areas to relax including various bars, a spacious walking area, even a pool for use and cabana rentals. The interior doubles as a museum for all of the Great Director-Francis Ford Coppola's cinematic achievements over the decades.(Think multiple gold Oscar Statues) The most amazing part about the whole experience is that if you're a fan of "The Godfather" movie series directed by Coppola in 1972, then you will love that the famous "I'll make him an offer he can't refuse" dead horse scene was filmed here-in fact the entire mansion from that scene is the winery now. Right in the heart of Los Angeles (and now permanent home to the Space Shuttle), are some of the best Museums Los AngelesHas to  offer. The California Science Center , The California African American Museum , The Natural History Museum and the famous Rose Gardens are just of a few of the things you can see there.
